Former Newcastle Academy defender adds strength to the squad
Experienced defender brings leadership, composure, and pedigree to the back line
We’re pleased to announce the signing of Callum Williams, who joins FC Hartlepool ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Callum is a calm and composed centre-half, known for his ability to play out from the back and organise the defence. He’s someone the club has had an eye on for some time, and we’re delighted he’s committed to the season ahead.
Williams came through the Newcastle United Academy before building a strong non-league career with the likes of Gateshead, Spennymoor Town, Morpeth Town, Guisborough, and Tow Law. His experience and football IQ make him a valuable addition to the squad — on and off the pitch.
