FC Hartlepool are proud to announce that 18-year-old goalkeeper Harry Carr has been named the Ebac Northern League Division 2 Goalkeeper of the Month for September — a huge moment for one of the club’s brightest young talents.

Carr has been a wall between the posts since the season began, producing a series of commanding displays that earned him the award. In his first five appearances for the club, he kept five clean sheets, including three during September, helping FC Hartlepool build a solid foundation in the early stages of the campaign.

Calm, Composed, and Commanding

at just 18, Carr has shown remarkable composure for a player so new to senior football. His positional sense, vocal leadership, and instinctive shot-stopping have made him an instant fan favourite at Grayfields.

“For such a young goalkeeper, Harry looks like he’s been playing senior football for years. He’s calm, composed, and always seems in control — a proper modern-day number one,” said one FC supporter.
